Bruce Cockburn

has recorded over 23 albums during his lengthy career. Bruce is also well known for his strong political views, and his work for "Friends of the Earth." Perhaps what sets Bruce apart from many other folk oriented singer-songwriters is his his edge, never one to stay anchored in the past, his work has continuously evolved to include new arrangements and styles; and while his lyrics may carry much weight, they are direct and unpretentious, and most importantly never self-righteous, which is perhaps why Bruce Cockburn's audience continues to grow worldwide.
