Colleen Dewhurst

is one of Canada's finest theater actors. Having made her debut on Broadway in 1952, the Montreal-born performer went on to star in many plays, and films, particularly those of Playwright Eugene O'Neil and was the recipient of many distinctions including two Tony, and four Emmy Awards. She was married, to, then divorced from actor George C. Scott, and was also known to be involved in many humanitarian and political causes.
