Maynard Ferguson

is the same age as Mickey Mouse, but that's where the similarities end. Maynard Ferguson is one of the most accomplished Jazz trumpet players in the world, hailed as "The Admiral", "The Lip", and "Super Trumpet of the World"; his recording career spans over 60 years, and he has won several awards including a Grammy award nomination in 1978, and 1984, the Gold record Conquistador in1978, and he was inducted into Downbeat and International Jazz Educators Hall of Fame in 1992.
