| wanted to avoid confusion with
another actor named Michael Fox, so he added a J. He dropped out of high-school to pursue fame and fortune in Hollywood at the age of 18, landing a string of small parts in various films before he would win the part of Alex on the popular 80's sitcom Family Ties. Today, Michael J. Fox lives in New York, spending most of his time at home with his family, and keeping his TV appearance few- and-far-between. Michael's awards list include 3 Emmys for "Family Ties", along with 3 Golden Globes for "Spin City". |
