Chief Dan George |

| was chief of the Salish Band in Burrard Inlet, British Columbia, but he was also an actor. He is best remembered for his role as Old Lodge Skins, Chief of the Cheyenne Tribe "The Human Beings" who adopt Dustin Hoffman in "Little Big Man". He has also starred in the James A. Michener TV Miniseries "Centennial", and he also co-starred with Clint Eastwood in "The Outlaw Josey Wales". In addition to feature films, Chief Dan George has also guest starred on many TV shows, including "The Incredible Hulk", "Bonanza", and "The Beachcombers". He died in 1981. |  |
