Jessalyn Gilsig

was born in Montreal, has been acting since the age of twelve, and graduated from the American Repertory Theater at Harvard in 1995. Her TV career began when she was cast as an assistant D.A., in the David E. Kelly legal drama "The Practice"; impressed with her acting skills and incredible presence, Kelly wrote a part specifically for Gilsig in the the high-school drama "Boston Public." Jessalyn Gilsig has also appeared in feature films, including "The Horse Whisperer".
