Jeff Healey

was blinded by eye cancer at the age of one...three years later, he started to play guitar, placing the instrument on his lap. This was just the start of his development of a technique that would make him a guitar prodigy by his early teens.  One of Jeff's first involvement in the music business was as the age of 14, when he was hired as principal music specialist for the CBC.  Jeff's extensive knowledge of music, especially vintage 78 rpm guitar recordings would also play a role in refining his trademark sound.  Healy's first album, "See the Light" was released by Arista Records in 1988.  His follow-up, Hell to Pay" sold over 2 million copies and featured performances by Paul Shaffer,  Mark Knopfler, and George Harrison.  After a 5 year hiatus, Jeff Healy band have released "Get me Some", a record that once again shows that Jeff  is one of the most talented artists around.
