Margot Kidder

is the actress best known for her portrayal of a modern, self-assured Lois Lane in the Christopher Reeves "Superman" films. She has also been active in various social causes, with Amnesty International, and the Woman's Movement, and the Rev. Jesse Jackson Campaign, to name a few. Margot Kidder's life and times, and her much publicized battle with bi-polar disorder will be chronicled in her book titled "Calamities".
