Marshall McLuhan |
||
| is one of the reasons we you are sitting at home reading this biographical blurb, one of the reasons we are writing this biographical blurb. Herbert Marshall McLuhan was an educator in mass communications he probed many concepts about media and society, based on his observations of American advertising; his famous quote "The Medium is the Message" gains stronger resonance by the minute, as our methods of communicating become more and more dependent on technology. He died on January 31st, 1980. One of his most famous friends was Pierre Elliott Trudeau, who was the perfect embodiment of McLuhan's observations. | ![]() |
