Kate Nelligan

left Canada at the age of eighteen to study at the London's Central School of Speech and Drama, a move rewarded with  several stage and screen parts that established Kate as an actors' actor.  Although she is Canadian, Kate is currently living, and working in the United-States, where she has appeared in countless critically acclaimed feature films such as "The Cider House Rules", "The Prince of Tides", and "How to Make an American Quilt".  Kate Nelligan has also appeared in highly acclaimed Canadian dramas such as "Million Dollar Babies"; a film about the Dionne Quintuplets, and in the excellent UK production of "Eye of the Needle", also starring Donald Sutherland.
