| is the eight-time Canadian National Champion Figure Skater, and two-time Olympic silver medallist, and the first man to land the difficult triple axel correctly; a prowess which became his signature move. In 1984, Brian Orser became the first man to achieve the triple axel in Olympic competition. He went on to win the World Figure Skating Championship in 1988. | ![]() |
