Michael Ontkean

was one of the first actors to tackle the TV and film taboo of homosexuality in the 1982 Arthur Hiller drama "Making Love".  this was a bold move, as the actor had previously been playing a "macho" tough guy on the American TV series SWAT.  Michael Ontkean continued taking chances with the brilliant David Lynch nighttime soap "Twin Peaks", playing the poker-faced town sheriff.  Since then, Michael has been seen in several TV movies, including the Danielle Steele adaptation "Family Album".
