Ogopogo

Canada has the world's greatest concentration of Lake Monsters, perhaps this is because we have many great lakes which are very deep, and cold at the bottom.  Like the Coelacanth, a prehistoric fish thought extinct which was found alive and well in the depths of the Indian ocean, crypto zoologists the world over are still trying to figure out the truth about Ogopogo, Canada's most popular cousin to the Loch Ness Monster.  Ogopogo is said to be dwelling at the bottom of Lake Okanagan in British Columbia.  A little known fact is that Ogopogo was discovered in 1926, before the first reported sightings of the Loch Ness Monster.  Even though many skeptics dismiss the sightings as hoaxes and delusions, scientists are not that quick to deny the possibility of an animal such as the Plesiosaur, having been believed extinct for 65 Million Years, may still be lurking in the world's deepest lakes.
