Our Lady Peace |
||
| are one of Canada's most promising new bands. Their music is an eclectic mix of various musical styles, fused together to form the thinking fan's alternative rock. While the band achieved immediate success with their debut album "Naveed", their follow up "Clumsy" was an even bigger commercial and critical hit. One of the most striking differences between Our Lady Peace and other rock bands is the fact that they did not have much prior live experience, and were primarily a studio outfit. Their latest, "Spiritual Machines", is based on the writings of Dr. Ray Kurzweill, inventor of speech, text-recognition software (OCR), and the famous Kurzweill sampling synthesizer. | ![]() |
