| is known as the "most influential physician in history". He studied medicine at the University of Toronto and McGill, where he later returned following European post-graduate training, to teach medicine and pathology. His 1892 textbook "The Principles and Practice of Medicine" was regarded as the most authoritative guide to medicine for over 30 years. The father of Psychosomatic Medicine, Sir Osler helped create post-graduate medical training guidelines that are being followed even now. | ![]() |
