Jason Priestley

is the former star of the hugely popular American teen soap "Beverly Hills: 90210", and several unsung great performances in movies like "Cold Blooded", and "Love and Death in Long Island" where he played the love interest of a British writer played by veteran actor John Hurt. Jason has been working hard to shake off his squeaky clean "boy-next-door" image by playing heavies such as the scruffy, over-the-top Breakfast in "The Highwayman". Jason Priestley's pet project; "Barenaked in America" a documentary about Canadian group The Barenaked Ladies, marks his debut as a director. Jason recently suffered a spinal fracture in the middle of his back and a closed head injury, as well as broken bones in his feet, from crashing his racing car into a wall at nearly 180 mph at the Kentucky Speedway. He is currently recovering, but the odds that he will be racing again are slim. Jason had been racing since 1991, and had won his first race in 1998, at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.
