Matthew Perry

was born in the US, but he was raised in Ottawa, Ontario. He comes from an acting family, his mom was a TV anchor, and his father appeared in Old Spice commercials; Matthew Perry's first role was a small part in a River Phoenix picture called "A Night in the Life of Jimmy Reardon", this was followed by his getting cast as Chandler on the phenomenally successful NBC sitcom "Friends", and this of course led to roles in feature films such as "The Whole Nine yards" with Bruce Willis. Matthew is also an accomplished tennis player.
