| is the Playboy Playmate turned actress who was brutally murdered by her jealous and controlling husband, and has been the subject of two feature films, the first "Star 80", starred Mariel Hemmingway as Dorothy, with Eric Roberts as her abusive husband Paul Snyder, while the second, a TV movie titled "Death of a Centerfold" featured Jamie-Lee Curtis in the title role. A third feature, "Dorothy Stratten: The Untold Story" was a documentary on the former Playmate of the Year. |  |
