Elvis Stojko

was named after after the American Rock-n-Roll star. Right away it is said, that Irene knew her son was to be something special.  A the age of five,  the first time he was on skates, Elvis was knew what he wanted to do.  Elvis went on to join the famous Cricket Club. then he joined Mariposa School of Figure Skating where Elvis refined his skills.  Elvis Stojko has since won several championships and is an Olympic medallist. Here is a website featuring a comprehensive list of Elvis' awards and placements.  Elvis is known for his unique style and impressive programs.  Never one to give up, he is also considered by many to e a Canadian hero.
