| was born in Inuvik, in the Northwest Territories, but was adopted by a German family, hence the surname Schweig. He began acting in the late 80s when he got the part of the Shaman in a stage play called "The Cradle Will Fall". his first feature film role was the part of Uncas in Michael Mann's “The Last of the Mohicans”. He has also appeared in "Squanto: A Warrior's Tale" opposite Adam Beach, "Tom & Huck", "Dead Man's Walk", and "The Big Eden", in which he played Pike Dexter. Eric Schweig is the International Celebrity Spokesman for the North American Wolf Association, and he also carves masks, figurines, and pendants which are being sold worldwide. | ![]() |
