| Formed in Toronto in 1978, Saga
have been one of Canada's biggest musical exports. While the band has never
had the same rate of success in North America that it receives in Europe and
elsewhere on the world stage, the band still has an extremely broad fan base
and has sold well over 10 million albums. Saga's trademark sound can best be
described as a blend of high intensity guitar with synthesizers and
accessible melodies, something not quite like anything else in the musical
