Sloan

is a Halifax, Nova Scotia Quartet that has been around for over a decade.  One of the things that sets them apart from other power pop, or rock groups is that every member contributes vocals to their songs.  Sloan have even been compared to The Beatles, and their 1994 album "Twice Removed" was voted best Canadian album of all time by Chart Magazine.  Sloan have six albums to their name, each showing the bands immense talent at creating memorable hooks, and most importantly, their ability to evolve while staying true to themselves.
