The Tea Party

have been playing together for nearly a decade, their brand of East-meets-West influenced alternative rock, and Doors-like vocals at first drew jabs from critics, but the band did not flinch, and continued on what they thought was the right path to maturity.  The difference between The Tea Party and other bands that pilfer sounds from the East is that they actually learned to play, and integrate the instruments into their studio albums.  The Tea party's vocalist-guitarist Jeff Martin, bassist Stuart Chatwood and drummer Jeff Burrows continue to evolve,  trying to inject some much needed introspective sounds  in today's in your face rock scene.
